Elegoo has launched Matrix, its first official smartphone app for monitoring and controlling several 3D printers remotely. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play and at first supports only the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K. Further models follow from Q3 2025.
Key facts
App named Matrix, launched 26 June 2025
Available on Apple App Store and Google Play
First supported printer: Saturn 4 Ultra 16K
Saturn 4 Ultra, Mars 5 Ultra, Jupiter 2 from Q3 2025
What can the Matrix app do?
Users can manage several printers from one interface, track progress, temperature, speed and job status, and change settings such as layer height and exposure remotely. Prints can be started, paused or stopped, and print history is logged. An in-app link leads to Elegoo's store. Login is recommended for history sync, while some local functions work without it.
Which printers are supported?
The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K is supported first. Saturn 4 Ultra, Mars 5 Ultra and Jupiter 2 follow in Q3 2025, with more models to come.
What it means
For small workshops running several resin printers, remote monitoring and print logs can save supervision time. The app is limited to Elegoo hardware and one model at launch, so its value depends on the planned model rollout.
